HISTORY

The company was established in 1984 under the name of Varaosatalo Japan Oy. It originally specialised in spare parts for Japanese cars, which were enjoying rapidly rising sales at the beginning of the 1980s and thus driving up demand for spare parts specialists. The business quickly flourished.

The company expanded its operations in 1992 by establishing Ever-Parts Oy, which specialised in spare parts for European cars.

In the early years, operations were split into three sections: original parts, aftermarket parts and, especially, used parts. Today, the focus is on original parts.

The company rebranded itself at the end of 2004 by beginning to trade under the single name of AutoBodyParts. The associated companies finally merged on 31 December 2005 when the official name of the business was changed to AutoBodyParts Oy.
